Our client, a Myrtle Beach (Socastee) resident, was living in a local nursing home when she fell and broke her hip. The care plan for our client required two employees and a Hoyer lift to move our client. At the time of her fall, the nursing home only had one employee assisting our client. Our client lost her balance and fell to the floor, breaking her hip. Our client was transported to a local hospital where she underwent surgery for the broken hip. Our client later returned to the nursing home as a resident.
